Port Colborne’s Clarence Street Bridge will be temporarily closed for maintenance three times this week.

Also temporarily closed will be Thorold’s Allanburg Bridge.

St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corp. said no vehicle or pedestrian traffic will be allowed on the bridges during the work.

The closures are as follows:

Tuesday — Allanburg Bridge 9 a.m. to noon, Clarence Street Bridge 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Wednesday — Clarence Street Bridge 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Thursday — Clarence Street Bridge 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The seaway said it will do everything possible to minimize any inconvenience to the public while it performs preventive maintenance. Bridge closures are subject to change.
