Two Leicester restaurants must make "major" improvements to their hygiene. A city off-licence has been given the same instruction.
The three businesses, in Gallowtree Gate, Narborough road and Belgrave Road, were given the second lowest possible score - one - when they were visited by the city council's health inspectors. Two NHS services were given a score of three , which means 'generally satisfactory'. The highest rating is five.
The ratings are based on criteria such as handling, storage and preparation of food, cleanliness of facilities and how well food safety issues are managed. The majority of venues across Leicester scored five in the latest round of inspections, meaning 'very good'. Across Leicester city, 57 scored t op marks in the latest ratings.
