A This Morning favourite has hinted at a potential Coronation Street appearance.

During Monday's (September 8) edition of Lorraine, presenter Lorraine Kelly spoke with actress Patti Clare as she celebrates 15 years portraying Mary Taylor on the ITV drama.

Viewers of the soap will be aware that Mary harbours particularly strong feelings for Ben Shephard, with numerous amusing mentions of the former GMB presenter woven into storylines throughout the years.

Mary's devotion to Ben was initially disclosed in 2020, when she displayed a throw she possessed that featured his image all over it.

She subsequently mentioned her intention to spend Valentine's Day snuggling with her Ben Shephard cushion, having earlier declared her desire for a Ben Shephard-themed funeral, reports the Daily
