Bengals wide receivers Tee Higgins and Ja'Marr Chase dance after Chase scored the winning touchdown in the fourth quarter against the Cowboys.

Congratulations on making it back to the start of another NFL season, which is not only another chance for your favorite team to chase greatness but another opportunity for you to pursue greatness with those bets that keep things interesting. Hopefully your bankroll is ready. If not, sit this one out.

Like 2024, I’ll be providing a few anytime touchdown scorer props each week. While every recommended bet won’t hit every week, there should be at least a couple winners out of the five. As some of the most popular props in football, that’s all you can ask for. Here’s what I’m feeling in Week 1.

Ja’Marr Chase

Bengals at Browns

Chase led all receivers in touchdowns last season, so he’s a threat to score anyway. But that’s especially the case against Cleveland, who gave up the fourth-most TDs to receivers last season, including one to Chase in both games against Cincinnati.

Nico Collins

Texans at Rams

It helps that the Rams tied for the fourth-most touchdowns allowed to receivers last season, but this also comes down to how Houston may have to play. Joe Mixon is out and we don’t know how effective Nick Chubb will be in his return to a starting role. This game could come down to C.J. Stroud and Collins making plays through the air.

James Conner

Cardinals at Saints

No team gave up more rushing touchdowns than the Saints last season, and it’s hard to see where they got better. Expect Arizona to feed Conner early and often.

Mike Evans

Buccaneers at Falcons

Mike Evans has three touchdowns in his last three games against the Falcons. If he’s going to have another strong season, it’ll be because the 32-year-old starts fast.

Chuba Hubbard

Panthers at Jaguars

The strength of Carolina’s offense last season was Hubbard and the rushing attack, which they should look to establish early in the season against a Jaguars team that gave up the second-most rushing touchdowns last season, only behind … Carolina.
