Strong Storms Ripped Through Northeast Saturday

Severe weather battered the Northeast on Saturday as storms stretched across the I-95 corridor from Washington D.C. to Portland, Maine. The National Weather Service confirmed that a radar-indicated tornado touched down in Massachusetts in the town of Holden near Worcester.

Meteorologist Jennifer Gray noted, “There were several reports of hail across Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maryland varying in size from quarter to ping pong ball.
