SHIELDS, Wis. -- A Watertown teen died Saturday night, after they left the road and crashed into multiple trees in the Town of Shields.

The Dodge County Sheriff's Office were dispatched just before 6:30 p.m. to a single-vehicle crash on County Road Q and Pit Road.

An initial investigation showed a 2006 Acura sedan was northbound on County Road Q, south of Pit Road. The vehicle left the road and struck several trees before stopping approximately 50 yards off the road in a wooded area. An 18-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

Assisting at the scene were the City of Watertown Fire and EMS, the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team, the Dodge County Chaplains, and Dodge County Emergency Response Team (DCERT).

The name of the driver is being withheld as the crash
