BBC Radio 2's Vernon Kay quipped that he was about to receive "the sack" after indulging in some playful banter with Radio 2 in the Park co-presenter Michelle Visage who happens to be mates with his Strictly host wife, Tess Daly. ‌

The duo had been broadcasting live from Hylands Park in Chelmsford for Radio 2's beloved annual festival, which featured acts including Marti Pellow, pop star Jessie J and Essex boy Olly Murs. ‌
