FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Fort Wayne United celebrated the relaunch of its Late Night Basketball program Saturday.

Held on select Saturdays at the Renaissance Pointe YMCA, the program provides ‘a safe space where young people can come together, grow, and share hope for the community’.

Registration to play begins at 7 p.m., with games tipping off at 8 p.m. Open play is also offered until 11 p.m.

The organization says the next Late Night Basketball event will be Saturday, September 13.

According to its executive director, George Hicks, several athletes made their way to the courts Saturday, and he hopes to continue to ‘build something great together’.
