UPDATE: After devastating, historic flooding that swamped the Tennessee Valley last month, the City of East Ridge will be opening Hamilton County's disaster loan outreach center this Saturday, Sept. 6.

The center will serve as a local resource for homeowners, renters, businesses, and nonprofits impacted by the severe storms on August 12 in Hamilton County.

SBA's disaster declaration also covers the counties of Bledsoe, Bradley, Marion, Meigs, Rhea, and Sequatchie in Tennessee, as well as Catoosa, Dade, Walker, and Whitfield counties in Georgia.

Representatives will be on site to answer questions, explain the application process, and help individuals complete disaster loan applications, according to a release from the city.
