A teen driver whose minivan was struck by five accused killers fleeing the scene of a deadly mass shooting in the Bronx in a stolen Honda is now facing criminal charges of his own.
But his dad insists his son is innocent, a victim of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
“He was just trying to bring his cousin home,” 41-year-old Adalberto Santiago told the Daily News. “They want to put that gun that was used in the killing on Josue and give him 10-15 years.”
