Suspects Facing Drug and Grand Theft Charges After I-4 Traffic Stop

POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A Traffic stop on I-4 led to the arrest of two men from Winter Haven and Eagle Lake, who were found in a vehicle reported stolen from Orlando. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) announced the arrests of 24-year-old Isaac McCarthur, III, and 21-year-old Jacobe Rashard Fowler on Saturday.

The incident began when the PCSO received a report about a black Nissan Altima that had been stolen in Orlando on September 5. On Saturday, PCSO units located the stolen vehicle on I-4 near US-27 in the Davenport area and initiated a traffic stop.

According to the PCSO report, McCarthur was driving the vehicle, and Fowler was in the front passenger seat. Both men were taken into custody without incident.
