Police in Lynn, Massachusetts have charged a 30-year-old man with the murder of a woman after her body was found an apartment building.

The victim, a 38-year-old Lynn woman, was found dead early Sunday morning just after 1 a.m. when police responded to a call on Newhall Street. It's unclear how she was killed.

Police arrested the suspect, who is also a resident of Lynn, and charged him with murder. He will be arraigned in Lynn District Court on Monday.

A man who has lived in the building for 10 years, who didn't know the victim or the man who was arrested, said police lights and commotion woke him up early Sunday.
