ELDORADO, Ill. (KFVS) - Authorities are investigating a death that happened early Sunday morning in Eldorado, Illinois.

The Illinois State Police (ISP) said the Eldorado Police Department is investigating a death that happened on Benton Street at 1st Street on September 7, just after 5 a.m.

ISP’s Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) Zone 8 was requested to assist.

There is very little information at this time, but ISP said the investigation is active and ongoing.
