INDIANAPOLIS — Miami Dolphins cornerback Storm Duck was injured late in the first half of Sunday’s opener against the Indianapolis Colts.
Duck is questionable to return with the ankle injury.
The Dolphins’ second-year starting cornerback was involved on a tackle of Colts tight end Tyler Warren, along with linebacker Jordyn Brooks, and had the body weight of both players on his left leg as his foot was pinned against the turf at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Duck spent minutes on the ground with his leg in an awkward position as trainers attended to him. He eventually got up and walked gingerly to the sideline to receive further medical attention at the team’s injury tent.
Afterward, he was taken into the locker room on a cart.
Duck first made the Dolphins’ active roster as an undrafted rookie
