HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The public will get a chance to tour military aircraft and equipment, check out interactive booths and learn about careers in aviation at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam this Saturday, Sept. 13, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Governor Josh Green will deliver remarks, and the Air Force Band of the Pacific will host a live musical performance.

Air Force Captain Hakeem Regis, a C-17 pilot, joined HNN’s Sunrise to talk about the event.

“I am excited to welcome our community onto the installation and inspire the next generation of aviation,” Regis said. “Children have the opportunity to learn so much about aviation and I look forward to sharing that with them.”
