A flood advisory was issued for parts of Broward County Sunday afternoon, the National Weather Service said.

According to the NWS, the flood advisory will remain in effect until 4:30 p.m.

Data from the NWS says there will be heavy rain due to thunderstorms, and minor flooding is expected in those advisory areas.

Fort Lauderdale

Hollywood International Airport
