AUBURN — For the first time in nearly four years, Auburn football has a digit next to its name.

The Tigers, fresh off a 42-3 victory over Ball State on Sept. 6, moved up in the national polls the next day, coming in at No. 24 in the AP's Top 25 Poll — for the first time since November 2021.

It was the only poll that put Auburn in its top 25 however, as the USA TODAY Coaches Poll still had the Tigers outside that mark, receiving 57 points and being the sixth team out of the listing, which would've had them at No. 31 if the rankings extended so far.

Auburn's now one of 11 SEC teams ranked in either the AP or Coaches polls, alongside Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Missouri, Oklahoma, Ole Miss , South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Texas A&M.
