Inever thought I would write anything complimentary about President Donald J. Trump, but I have to say bravo, kudos and approbation are warranted for him wanting the Department of Defense to return to its original name of the Department of War. It became the DoD in 1947 .

War Department accurately reflects our military behavior, having launched unnecessary and unwinnable wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Since the end of World War II, we have shamelessly bombed more than 20 nations , slaughtering countless men, women and children.

Here are a few examples of countries we have visited with enormous death, destruction and incalculable sorrow since the end of World War II: Vietnam, China, Guatemala, Indonesia, Cuba, Belgian Congo, Lebanon, Libya, Laos, Cambodia, Somalia, Yemen, Iran and Suda
