CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Bengals opened the 2025 NFL season with a 17-16 win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday at Huntington Bank Field.

The Bengals led, 14-10, at halftime.

The Bengals struck first in the opening quarter when running back Chase Brown powered through the middle for a 5-yard touchdown run from the shotgun formation. The scoring drive covered 67 yards in 16 plays and consumed 7:28 of game clock.

Cincinnati extended their lead in the second quarter when quarterback Joe Burrow connected with tight end Noah Fant for a 1-yard touchdown pass.

The Browns got a first-half touchdown from Raheim Sanders and a late field goal from Andre Szmyt to pull within 14-10.
