A Cape May County town has announced a virtual public auction later this month of 100 properties no longer needed for public use.

The online auction for the Dennis Township properties will begin at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 16, and conclude at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 18.

Participants are required to submit a deposit of $2,000 per property, or $10,000 for those interested in bidding on five or more properties.

Successful bidders must sign a contract and provide a 10% deposit on their winning bids.

There are 100 lots and structures for auction located throughout Dennis Township, according to the auction website.

The township plans to sell all properties “as is” and makes no guarantees about their condition.
