A manhunt is underway in Texas for a gunman whom police said opened fire early Sunday on a group of people eating and drinking on the patio of a bar in suburban Houston, killing one person and wounding five others.

The shooting occurred at the Alas Locas sports bar in Cleveland, about 45 miles northeast of Houston, according to the Liberty County Sheriff's Office.
