For the first time in four seasons, the Cincinnati Bengals have started their campaign in the win column, defeating the Cleveland Browns, 17-16, in Cleveland.

It's the first time the Bengals won a Week 1 game since the 2021 season, when they beat the Minnesota Vikings, 27-24, in overtime at Paycor Stadium. Advertisement

Trailing 17-16, Cleveland was faced with a second down on their own 42 yardline when Browns quarterback was targeting wide receiver Cedric Tillman on a short route.

The ball hit Tillman in the hands but he couldn't hang onto it, allowing Bengals safety D.J. Turner to play the tip-drill and corralled the ball, leading to the second interception for the Bengals on the day, both of which hit the Cleveland receiver first.
