BOISE, Idaho — A man was shot Saturday night on West Forsythia Drive in Boise's North End Neighborhood.

According to the Boise Police Department, officers responded to the shooting at 10:52 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6 and found an injured man in front of a house.

Officers provided the man with medical aid, and he was taken to a local hospital by Ada County Paramedics with what appeared to be serious but non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

"There have not been any arrests, and we do not have any suspect information to share at this time, a Boise Police Information Officer told KTVB.

Several residents in the area reached out to KTVB regarding a lockdown or Code Red. The department stated it was unaware of any alerts sent out, but people can sign up for Code Red alerts here .
