Gear up for a night of music royalty with MTV's Video Music Awards 2025 .

The jam-packed ceremony organized by the TV channel and music video pioneer celebrates the top songs and music videos voted on by fans.

Nominations for this year's VMAs were announced Aug. 5 with pop icon Lady Gaga leading the list with 12 nods, including video of the year, artist of the year and best album, while her "Die with a Smile" collaborator, Bruno Mars , followed closely behind with 11 nominations.
