SACRAMENTO, Calif. —

The Tower Bridge (State Route 275) has been closed since 10 a.m. on Sunday as Visit Sacramento hosts the 12th annual Tower Bridge Dinner, the signature kickoff to the city’s Farm-to-Fork celebration. The sold-out event begins at 4:30 p.m. and serves as a fundraiser for Sacramento State’s College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP).

Hundreds of guests who secured tickets within minutes of release will dine atop Sacramento’s smallest highway, which connects downtown Sacramento to West Sacramento. This year’s lead chefs are Bucky Bray, Devin Dedier, Jeana Marie and N’Gina Guyton, with more than a dozen additional chefs preparing appetizers and desserts featuring locally sourced ingredients.
