Traffic ramps on the northbound side between the Harrisburg East Interchange of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (PA Turnpike) and Interstate 283 West are scheduled for overnight hours Monday into Tuesday.
The northbound on-ramp from the Harrisburg East Interchange to the section of SR 283 leading to Eisenhower Boulevard will be closed from Monday, Sept. 8, at 7 p.m. until Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 6 a.m., a press release said.
The closures are necessary to allow crews to safely conduct milling and paving work on those ramps. Drivers seeking Eisenhower Blvd. may continue on I-283 north to the SR 441 exit or seek alternative routes during those times. All scheduled work is weather permitting.
