A frost advisory is in effect for much of northern and western Pennsylvania Monday morning, with temperatures expected to drop into the mid to upper 30s overnight. Residents should prepare to protect sensitive plants and vegetation.

The National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m. Monday for several counties, with the coldest temperatures likely in areas north and west of the Allegheny Front. Skies will be clear and winds light, creating ideal conditions for rapid radiational cooling. Temperatures are forecast to quickly rise after sunrise, ending frost risk by 8 a.m.
