Average temperatures return this week, but so do thunderstorm chances

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - After a picture perfect weekend we’ll see temperatures warm up into the 80’s, with a few low 90’s possible out west. With the warmer temperatures shower and storm chances also return to the area beginning tonight. Isolated thunderstorms are possible this evening across extreme southwestern Nebraska. Overnight tonight scattered showers, with possible thunder, will develop in northern Kansas and southern Nebraska. Temperatures tonight fall into the upper 50’s and low 60’s. Tomorrow temperatures will vary from east to west. Mostly cloudy skies across the eastern half of Nebraska will keep temperatures in the mid to upper 70’s. To the west skies will clear out allowing temperatures to warm back into the mid to upper 80’s. Thunderstorm development will be possible across
