ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Young bicyclists gathered at the Gates Town Hall on Sunday morning for an immersive and educational experience.
The Gates Bike Rodeo was held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., welcoming young riders to an event designed to educate them on the rules of the road, improve biking skills, and promote riding safety for the back-to-school season.
The Gates Police Department, Monroe County Stop DWI & Traffic Safety, Reconnect Rochester, and Rotary Club of Rochester collaborated on the event.
An obstacle course was provided for attendees to practice, in addition to maintenance education and helmet fittings.
