LSU sophomore tight end Trey'Dez Green will not miss the rest of the season due to a knee injury he suffered during the fourth quarter of the Tigers' win over Louisiana Tech , according to a report from 247Sports.

Instead, Green will likely miss next week's matchup against Florida but may return shortly thereafter, the report said.

Green was helped off the field after suffering the ailment on Saturday. He had a brace on his right knee and was on crutches by the end of the night.

LSU coach Brian Kelly had no update on Green's status following the game. Green had an MRI on his knee on Sunday.

In Week 1 against Clemson, Green caught LSU's first touchdown pass of the season. Green did not have a reception against Louisiana Tech after catching two passes for 17 yards last week.
