To protect yourself, the police department said you should not give up personal information, such as your username, password and Secure Access Code, over the phone to a caller claiming to represent a bank's fraud department.
If you receive a call like this, you should hang up and call CNB Bank and Trust's Customer Service Department at 866-342-2620. You can also contact the Taylorville Police Department at 217-824-2211 to report the scam.
