GREEN BAY, Wis. (WMTV) - The Green Bay Packers opened their season at Lambeau Field taking on the Detroit Lions on Sunday afternoon.
Packers fans were treated right away after quarterback Jordan Love and the Green Bay offense took the field to put together an immediate touchdown drive highlighted by an 11-yard reception for Packers rookie Matthew Golden, and a Tucker Kraft 15-yard touchdown to hand Green Bay the early 7-0 lead.
The drive to follow, Micah Parsons made his official debut in the green and gold and made an immediate impact. The Packers stopped Detroit on a third-and-long, to hand Green Bay possession once again.
