MURPHYSBORO — The Jackson County Health Department invites area residents to participate in a unique event that includes a drug takeback; a vaccine clinic; confidential document shredding services; and the collection of CFL and LED light bulbs and household rechargeable batteries from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 20.

The medical sharps disposal kiosk will be accessible for drop-off and free sharps collection containers will be available at no cost, upon request, and nursing staff will be offering a walk-in vaccine clinic.
