NORMAN — Courtland Guillory continues to exceed what many would expect of a freshman defensive back in Power Four college football.

Through two weeks of the 2025 season, the rookie from the Houston area has played 93 snaps, the most of any OU defender, and hasn’t missed a beat. In Oklahoma’s 24-13 win over Michigan on Saturday night, Guillory played all 59 snaps on defense and remained unflappable.

He was targeted five times in the U-M passing game and didn’t allow a catch to the Wolverines, according to Pro Football Focus data. The 6-foot corner was graded as OU’s best coverage man (71.1) on PFF’s scale of 0-100 as well.
