As if the San Francisco 49ers have not been dealing with enough injury issues at the moment, tight end George Kittle might now be sidelined for a while.

Kittle suffered a hamstring injury during his team's season opener against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday and will not return to the game.

He logged four catches for 25 yards and a touchdown before exiting.

Kittle is obviously one of the pillars of the 49ers' offense and has been so for nearly a decade now. He entered the league as a fifth-round draft pick back in 2017 and immediately established himself as a force, catching 43 passes for 515 yards and a couple of scores during his rookie campaign.
