It was the Augi Williams show at the old Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum on Sunday.

Williams posted a brace, leading Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC to a 2-0 road win against Oakland Roots SC in Oakland, Calif.

Williams got the party started early, as he pounced on a loose ball inside the box for his first tally in the fourth minute. He actually put a header on net, but it was blocked by a defender and he recovered the carom.

Just before half, Williams put the finishing touches on the win. After a Roots turnover, Williams picked up the ball and charged hard into the box. He was taken down by Oakland’s Kai Greene, drawing a penalty. Williams fired the PK into the top of the net to double the visitors’ lead.
