The OU football team climbed the rankings following a 24-13 home win over No. 13 Michigan on Saturday, but its stock isn't the only one on the rise.

Redshirt junior quarterback John Mateer shined on the big stage. He led the Sooners to victory by completing 21 of his 34 passes for 270 yards, one touchdown and one interception. He also ran the ball 19 times for 74 yards and two touchdowns.
