COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - College Station City Council will be discussing plans for a potential data center to be built on Midtown Drive near Costco during their upcoming council meeting on September 11.

College Station Councilman Bob Yancy posted on a TXAGS forum that the center could be on the agenda for next Thursday’s meeting. College Station City Hall officially published the agenda for next week’s meeting on Friday evening, confirming a real estate discussion regarding 200 acres of land located at Corporate Parkway and Midtown Drive.

The discussion about the data center is the last item on the agenda for Thursday’s meeting. Lloyd Davis is a resident of Pebble Creek near Midtown Drive and said he isn’t against the project but wants more information.
