BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Central Church celebrated its 100th anniversary on Sunday, honoring a century of ministry, service, and community in the Brazos Valley.

The church, which began in 1925 inside the Brazos County Courthouse with just 81 members, has since grown into a multi-generation congregation of thousands at its current location on SH 30 at the Bryan-College Station city lines.

Lead Pastor Phillip Bethancourt reflected on the milestone during Sunday morning worship, calling the special day both a celebration of history and a commitment to the future for the next generation.
