GLENN COUNTY, Calif. - Glenn County Public Health is set to host a series of flu shot clinics this year, offering vaccines to the community and seniors.
Officials say the clinics aim to provide free flu vaccinations to everyone 6 months and older, with no appointment, ID, or insurance required.
Residents can attend three community clinics and two senior clinics, where high-dose vaccines will be available for seniors and those who are immune-compromised.
Vaccination is essential to prevent influenza illnesses, hospitalizations, and deaths. The Glenn County Public Health emphasized that the best time for vaccination is late September or October to ensure optimal immunity throughout the flu season.
Community Flu Vaccine Clinics will be held:
Thursday, September 25th, 2:30 pm – 6:30 pm
