SAN ANTONIO — A northeast-side family is pleading for help after their beloved French bulldog Dd was stolen from their backyard, and they say scammers are only making things worse.
Ashley Martinez said her 2-year-old dog, Dd, disappeared two weeks ago after being let out into the family’s fenced yard in the Northeast Crossing neighborhood near Windcrest.
“She was just gone,” Martinez said. “Minutes later, we couldn’t find her anywhere.”
The family says the loss of their beloved Dd, along with the scams, have been an emotional and physical toll, and hope someone can help bring Dd home
Security camera footage from a neighbor captured someone walking away with Dd in their arms. Since then, the family has been actively searching for the dog—posting flyers and spreading the word online.
