An 80-year-old woman has kept her half-a-century long fashion career going whilst in a retirement village, earning herself the title of “catwalk queen”. Ronnie Benattar, who has lived at Audley Villages in Chalfont Dean for three years, found a new lease of life with modelling after being in a wheelchair following a back surgery.

Ronnie, who was born in Plymouth, takes part in fashion shows organised several times a year by the local French fashion brand agent Michelle Kovacs, and enjoys strutting her stuff in front of an audience of between 80 and 100 people.
