OWENSBORO – (TNS) A fire at a chemical facility in Indiana caused Daviess County officials to recommend people shelter in their homes for about 90 minutes Saturday night.

Jeremy Smith, the county's Public Safety director, said officials in Indiana contacted him regarding the fire, which broke out at a manufacturing facility Saturday afternoon in Newburgh in Warrick County. Evansville television outlets say the company is PBTT.

The company's website says: "PBTT develops disruptive technology and commercializes it to produce finished goods." The website says the company works with companies in the aerospace, automotive, defense and energy industries.
