A mystery player has won a staggering $2.5m jackpot in Saturday’s Tattslotto, with Launceston residents urged to check their tickets.

The winning numbers in Tattslotto draw 4605 on September 6 were 43, 6, 21, 10, 42 and 16, with supplementary numbers 23 and 36.

The mystery winner, who purchased their lucky ticket in Tasmania’s second largest city, held one of the eight division 1 entries in Saturday’s draw, with each division one winner taking home $2.5m.

This marks the 11th division one win in Tasmania this year, with five ticketholders hailing from Launceston.

Alongside the Tamsanian ticketholder, there were three division 1 winners in NSW, three in Victoria and one from Queensland.

The mystery Tasmanian winner purchased their ticket at Racecourse Newsagency Gifts in Launceston.
