Luke Ayling named three key factors that Rob Edwards has changed that he believes is behind Middlesbrough ’s excellent start to the season.

Victory over Sheffield United last time out ensured that Boro went into this first international break of the season with a 100% record in the Championship. As well as securing four wins from four, the new head coach has also overseen three clean sheets, with just one goal shipped.

After a difficult campaign last term thanks to niggling injuries, Ayling has returned this season to play a pivotal role in that, with some committed defensive displays on the right of Edwards’ three centre-backs.
