Zoe Ball has spoken out about her inclusion on the BBC's highest earner list, despite only being with the corporation for three quarters of the year. The 54-year-old confessed that she would "worry" about the release of these lists.
The BBC annually discloses the salaries of its top-earning stars. Last year, former Match of the Day host Gary Lineker was at the top of the list, earning approximately £1.35m, even though he left the BBC in May.
Zoe was the second-highest paid star at the corporation, earning £515,000 for her Radio 2 Breakfast Show, but she departed the corporation in December, three quarters into the financial year.
Zoe has since launched a Saturday show on the same station and ventured into podcasting, presenting Dig It alongside fellow BBC stalwart Jo Whiley.
