A $13 million bridge project on Bloomington’s west side is nearing completion. Here’s what we know.

Where exactly is the bridge on Bloomington’s west side being built?

The bridge is being built over railroad tracks north of the Lowe’s Home Improvement store.

What will the bridge connect?

The project will extend Sunrise Greeting Court over the railroad tracks and connect it to Profile Parkway. That means the bridge will connect West Vernal Pike, or the area near Will Detmer Park, with the shopping area that also includes Kohl’s and the Whitehall Shopping Center.
