MAHOPAC – Another new face has joined the Mahopac School District family as the 2025-26 school year has gotten underway.

Corinne Safarowic is the district’s new director of special education, bringing more than 20 years of experience as a special educator and administrator.

Safarowic, who recently served as assistant director of Alternative and Special Education at Dutchess BOCES, has dedicated her career to creating inclusive, high-quality learning environments that support students of all abilities.
