Rainy weather did not deter Penn State fans from enjoying their team’s 34-0 win over visiting Florida International University.

The Nittany Lions started off slowly, but picked it up in the fourth quarter behind a 67-yard run by running back Kaytron Allen and a 5-yard TD by his backfield partner, Nicholas Singleton.

Singleton’s play was set up by a strip sack and return by freshman defensive end Chaz Coleman.

Penn State returns to the field Saturday at 3:30 p.m. when it hosts Villanova.
