ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills lit up the sky on Sunday night with a first-of-its-kind drone show at Highmark Stadium.
The eight-minute performance, titled Sunday Night Lights at Highmark Stadium, featured 500 drones creating Bills-themed formations above the stadium, during halftime of their season opener against the Baltimore Ravens.
The event was presented in association with Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield.
The Bills originally planned to host a drone show during halftime of a Sunday Night Football game last season, on Dec. 1 against the San Francisco 49ers. However, poor weather conditions — specifically snow and strong wind — forced the cancellation of the show the day of the game.
As for the game itself, it became an instant classic.
